Covid Corner with Dr. Gary Jacques

"Perserverance is not a long race; it is many short races, one after the other." --Walter Elliott Dear MANNM staff and Los Alamos community, New Mexico now 83 confirmed cases of Covid-19. There are still no confirmed cases in Los Alamos County. There are now public testing sites posted on the New Mexico Department of Health website. To my knowledge the nearest of these is Presbyterian Espanola. We will be referring more people there and performing less tests our self since supplies are short for the viral test tubes. Today's quote was chosen because I think it represents how we have prepared for this corona virus pandemic. Due to how rapidly things have been changing, it seems we've been running a series of short races. However, I feel good about our preparedness and we will be discussing today at noon additional ways to try to stay ahead of this in our thinking. Thanks for your perseverance. Dr. Jacques
